Own Your Sight

For the high-functioning black sheep who sees what others miss and has spent her life shrinking it.

I'm Jackie — Walking Eagle.

A name given to me by my Pascua Yaqui teacher, meaning sharp with the medicine. I see what others miss. I always have.

I spent years being the hardest charging person in every room — military, drinking, always on to the next thing — while quietly falling apart underneath all of it. Sexual assault in the military cracked me open.

What followed was years of relapsing, numbing, and a spiritual awakening I had no idea what to do with. Profound gifts were emerging while I was trying to stuff them back down with alcohol.

I was pissed at my own resilience. Furious that I kept surviving things I never asked to survive, while everyone around me thought I was fine.

That's who I work with now.

The high-functioning black sheep woman who sees things others don't, has survived things she shouldn't have had to, and is furious that she's still standing without knowing who the hell she actually is underneath all of it.

I'm currently completing my Master's in Mental Health Counseling, rooted in Ancient Wisdom, decolonial frameworks, and the consciousness principles that Western psychology is only beginning to catch up to.

What you carry does not have to be a disorder. You were just never given a framework that could hold all of it. That's what Walking Eagle Wellness is built for.

I'm not currently accepting clients. I'm doing this right.

If you feel genuinely called, spiritual guidance is available by donation. No funnel. No pitch.
